These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the plattr food aggregator platform ("Platform") operated by platrr ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Platform, either as a Customer or a Supplier, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About platrr
platrr is a Canada-based digital platform that connects local food suppliers with customers. We do not prepare, package, deliver, or store food. We are solely a facilitator between two independent parties: food Suppliers and Customers.

2. Supplier Onboarding & Legal Compliance

All Suppliers are subject to basic KYC verification during onboarding.

Each Supplier’s registration certificate is made available in their profile dashboard.

Customers must review these documents before ordering. platrr is not responsible for verifying or assuring the ongoing validity of these licenses.

Suppliers must renew their food business licenses on time and comply with all applicable Canadian food safety and health laws.

3. Supplier Responsibilities
Suppliers agree to:

Provide accurate product listings with prices inclusive of applicable taxes.

Maintain the quality, hygiene, portion size, and timely delivery of the food items.

Handle cancellations and refunds as per platform policy.
-
Pay a fixed listing fee per month to remain active on the Platform.
-
Pay a platform fee on each online transaction completed via the Platform.
-
Honor cancellations made within the permissible window.
platrr is not liable for any breach of quality, service delay, or misrepresentation by the Supplier.

4. Customer Terms
By using the Platform, Customers agree to:

Pay the full order amount, including:
-
Food cost (inclusive of tax)

platrr Platform fee per order cycle
-
Example: If a bill includes 2 deliveries per day for 3 days = 6 order cycles → platform fee = 6 × fee per order cycle

Tax on platform fee
-
Cancellation & Refunds:
-
Customers may cancel orders within the allowed time window.
-
Upon cancellation, applicable refunds will be credited to the Customer’s wallet.
-
Refund amount can be reused only with the same Supplier.
-
Refund entries will display Supplier name, order date, and cancellation date.
platrr is not responsible for food quality, delivery, or customer dissatisfaction arising from the Supplier’s service.

5. Billing Structure
Each bill will clearly itemize:

Cost of food (inclusive of taxes)
-
Tax on food (if applicable)
-
Platform usage fee
-
Tax on platform fee

6. Wallet Policy

Refunds due to cancellations will be credited to the Customer’s wallet.

The wallet credit is:
-
Non-transferable
-
Not withdrawable in cash
-
Valid for future purchases with-in 7 days only, from the same Supplier

7. Termination of Access
platrr reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Supplier or Customer account in case of:

Breach of these Terms
-
Violation of any applicable Canadian law
-
Fraudulent, abusive, or unethical behavior

8. Limitation of Liability
platrr shall not be held liable for:
-
Food quality, safety, or delivery issues
-
Health problems caused by food ordered via the platform
-
Non-fulfillment of orders by Suppliers
-
Delays or interruptions in the platform’s operation
The Platform operates solely as a digital intermediary.

9. Data & Privacy
platrr handles all personal data in compliance with Canadian data protection laws. Refer to our [Privacy Policy] for more information.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada.
Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ontario, Canada.
